    Your Main Tasks

    Your Experience and Skills

    The candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring and executing complex infrastructure project finance transactions in Latin America (financial advisory and lending), including transportation (ports, airports, roads, bridges, rail, subways, etc.), social infrastructure (hospitals, schools, detention centers, government facilities, etc.) and water related projects (aqueducts, irrigation, desalination, water treatment, etc).     Responsibilities:

    The EM Associate will work closely with other senior members of our client’s private markets’ investment team undertaking responsibility for (i) sourcing, evaluating, executing, and monitoring EM private equity and venture capital fund and co-investments, (ii) contributing to the administration of our client’s EM and overall investment portfolio, which includes tasks such as asset allocation, internal/external reporting, and risk management, among others, and (iii) supporting EM related investment activities across other investment groups, such as public equities, hedge funds, private credit, real estate, and natural resources, among others.
    Detailed responsibilities will include:

The ideal candidate will have most or all of the following skills: knowledge, experience, and personal characteristics:
    • An MBA from a leading institution; CFA designation (or in process) is a plus, but not required

The role requires outstanding financial and analytical skills, exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), and excellent interpersonal/relationship management skills.

    Principal Responsibilities:

    Lead the investment process of real estate projects in Lima:

    • Analysis of market information

    • Development of financial models and investment documents

    • Deal structuring (legal and fiscal aspects) 

    Coordinate the due diligence process of new real estate projects in Lima

    Prepare internal (management) and external (investors) documents and presentations

    Support the asset management process of the investment portfolio

    • Interaction with local developers/partners, to ensure the correct execution of the projects

    • Follow up on sales performance, construction progress and debt/equity requirements

    • Update of financial models

    • Internal and external reporting

    Requirements:

    • Bilingual: Fluency in Spanish and English REQUIRED

    • Strong computer software skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    • Outstanding financial and analytical skills

    • 5+ years of experience, preferably in private equity, investment banking or real estate

    • Master’s Degree preferred
