ABOUT THE ROLE
Mission:
Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned corporate finance projects such as mergers & acquisitions (M&A), Corporate venture capital processes across Latin America, evaluation of strategic alliances, and follow-up on synergy capture and integration of acquired companies, all with the objective of increasing company value through both inorganic and organic growth.
Functions:
Execute M&A transactions that support the strategic direction of each business unit, aligned with the mandate of Senior Management and the Board.
Lead, supervise, analyze, and execute financial valuation models for companies and other strategic projects (joint ventures, development of new initiatives, etc.).
Plan, lead, coordinate, and supervise the Due Diligence processes required for M&A transactions.
Design recommendations that generate value in the negotiation of various contracts (such as share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, memorandums of understanding, and commercial agreements), following the guidelines set by the business, the Acquisitions Committee, and Senior Management.
Support the generation of ideas, mechanisms, structures, and analyses that ensure sound decision-making; present these to senior leadership and recommend the position/structure/value that provides the highest benefit within a risk/return framework.
Train analysts and trainees to ensure proper project evaluation, providing ongoing supervision and daily motivation.
Review and analyze the post-acquisition phase of acquired companies, ensuring ongoing monitoring and assessment of the action plan and business plan previously approved by Senior Management.
Knowledge Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related fields
Strong knowledge of Corporate Finance
Advanced Excel
Advanced English
Experience:
Minimum 8 years, preferably 10 years, of experience in investment banking, family offices, private equity funds, or an in-house M&A team, executing M&A transactions, corporate finance projects, or investment evaluation.
