ABOUT THE ROLE

Overview:
The Banking Division provides corporate and investment banking services to leading corporations, financial institutions, and public sector clients across the U.S. and Canada. Core capabilities include corporate coverage, sponsor coverage, advisory and solutions, and loan capital markets and syndication.

The team supports clients with a broad range of capital markets and lending solutions through an integrated platform of coverage, advisory, and product specialists. Together, they manage client relationships, develop strategic transactions, and execute banking and securities mandates, including acquisitions, divestitures, and other investment opportunities.

Job Summary:
Investment & Corporate Banking Portfolio Management is involved in the design, origination, structuring, and execution of advisory and financing solutions across global capital markets, risk management, and structured and syndicated finance.

The team supports both existing and prospective clients by analyzing key industry and product trends, developing insights, and contributing to pitch materials and transaction execution.


Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quantitative analysis of economic, industry, and company data
- Develop and analyze corporate finance solutions, including M&A, capital structure, acquisition financing, and syndicated lending
- Evaluate risk and return profiles of financing transactions
- Perform financial modeling, valuation, and comparable company analysis
- Support idea generation and solution development across product groups
- Prepare client presentations and marketing materials
- Assist with transaction structuring, due diligence, and execution
- Contribute to client relationship development

Qualifications:
- Understanding of corporate finance, financial markets, and risk analysis
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in portfolio management or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinking and intellectual curiosity
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Spanish language skills are a plus
