ABOUT THE ROLE
A mining exploration company developing a high-quality silver asset is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to build and lead its IR function. The company is backed by a well-established investment group with a strong track record in precious and base metals, including copper, nickel, and zinc.
- The IRO will be responsible for building a best-in-class investor relations capability, reporting directly to the CFO.
- Work closely with the CFO, Executive Chairman (CEO), and senior management team.
- Lead communication and engagement with investors, equity analysts, rating agencies, and other key stakeholders.
- Support FP&A and broader capital markets initiatives as needed.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Senior IR professional with ~15+ years of experience.
- Direct experience in investor relations for publicly listed mining companies (U.S., Canada, or UK markets preferred).
- Proven track record managing market communication for a growing mining platform.
- Strong relationships with institutional investors focused on the mining sector.
- Solid technical background in capital markets, valuation, capital raising, and debt capital markets.
- Bilingual: fluent Spanish and English required.
- Highly collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset suited to a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform under pressure and operate at a senior leadership level.
