ABOUT THE ROLE

We are representing a global infrastructure and logistics group seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Controller to oversee financial operations and reporting for its Mexico business. The role combines hands-on accounting leadership with strategic oversight, ensuring full compliance, transparency, and efficiency across all financial functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial reporting, accounting, and internal controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international standards (IFRS).
- Lead month-end close, balance-sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting process and provide financial insight to senior leadership.
- Coordinate across Accounts Payable, Receivable, Billing, Treasury, and Tax to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage audit processes, including quarterly and annual audits, and maintain strong governance practices.
- Support project accounting, new-business evaluations, and cost-control initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local payroll, tax, and electronic invoicing regulations.

Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA / CPC certification desirable).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance management, controlling, or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and operational accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
- Experience in logistics, infrastructure, or industrial sectors preferred.
- Fluency in English required; Spanish essential.
- Authorized to work in Mexico without sponsorship. Role doesn't have to be in Mexico
