ABOUT THE ROLE

An international financial institution with an established Emerging Markets platform is seeking an experienced EM / Latin America Corporate Bond Salesperson to join its Madrid office.

The role will focus on developing and managing relationships with European institutional investors active in Emerging Markets credit, with a particular emphasis on Latin American corporate bonds.
The successful candidate will work closely with trading, research, and syndicate teams across the broader Emerging Markets platform.

Responsibilities:
Develop and manage relationships with European institutional investors investing in Emerging Markets and Latin American credit.
Distribute Latin American corporate bond products across primary and secondary markets.
Work closely with EM trading and syndicate teams on market opportunities and investor positioning.
Expand the firm’s institutional client relationships across Spain, Switzerland, the UK, and broader Europe.
Maintain strong understanding of Latin American macroeconomic, political, and credit developments.
Generate trade ideas and provide market intelligence to clients and internal stakeholders.

Desired Background:
Experience in Emerging Markets and/or Latin American corporate bond sales.
Existing relationships with institutional investors, asset managers, hedge funds, or private banks investing in EM credit.
Strong knowledge of LatAm issuers and corporate credit markets.
Entrepreneurial profile with the ability to help expand a growing platform.
Fluency in English required; Spanish and/or Portuguese strongly preferred.
