ABOUT THE ROLE
A global growth equity firm is seeking an experienced Analyst to join its Mexico Investment team. The role offers exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing, due diligence, investment committee materials, and post-investment portfolio support. The Analyst will work closely with senior investment professionals and portfolio company management teams.
Responsibilities:
- Build financial models and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to support investment due diligence and portfolio initiatives.
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials for internal review committees.
- Collaborate with senior team members and portfolio company management on strategic and operational initiatives.
- Conduct industry and company research to identify investment themes and potential targets.
- Perform proprietary research through discussions with industry participants, consultants, and other relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2–4 years of relevant experience (investment banking or private equity preferred; consulting or operational experience also considered)
- Strong foundation in accounting and financial analysis
- Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound business judgment
- Demonstrated academic and professional achievement
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Interest in high-growth companies and long-term investing
