1. LatAm corporate desk strategist/analyst/originator

LatAm corporate desk strategist/analyst/originator for their EM/LatAm Fixed Income Trading Group to be based in New York. Minimum three years of applicable professional experience as a research or financial analyst, portfolio analyst for a hedge fund or for the right personality, bank originator, with current direct experience to Latam corporates. Familiarity with Latin American corporate financial statements and the markets. Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is a plus. Excellent work environment working directly for the traders with sales and customer interaction
2. Senior Economist

My Client a top tier Global bank with a long and strong commitment to EM / Latin America seeks a Senior Economist to focus on the credit side in their LatAm Fixed Income Research Group to be based in New York. A minimum of 5 years of experience, PhD not necessary but MA in Economics a minimum requirement. Ideal candidate will bring a strong LatAm/EM investor client following. Capable/track record of generating trade recommendations based on macroeconomic drivers, relative value, market technicals and other factors. Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team player essential. Modeling and quantitative skills a plus. The position requires frequent travel, trips to client presentations and the region local offices in Latin America.
Proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish also a plus.
3. EM distressed and special situations - Eastern European focus

Global IB seeks a VP level research analyst to focus on Eastern European distressed debt and special situation investments. Ideal candidates will bring proven experience and oversight of transactions from sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, execution, monitoring, to monetization.

5. Local Markets Quantitative Analyst -

Santiago, Chile - Local Markets Quantitative Analyst -
The candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of Global EM/mix exposure/experience and qualifications in mathematics/ statistics/ financial engineering/ quant and be able to perform statistical analysis of financial markets (covering LatAm interest rates, foreign exchange / local markets). This position reports to and will work closely with the funds PM. The candidate will also work internally with market risk and credit risk teams as part of the deal approval processes. Excellent written and verbal skills are required. Graduate/ post-graduate candidates as well as experienced candidates will be considered.
Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish., other languages a plus.
Remuneration will be based on experience and will include performance based incentives
6. Jr/Mid level LatAm Corporate credit analyst - distressed and special situations
NY/Miami based, Compensation: Open
Our Client, a global IBank with solid focus on EM, seeks a Junior/Mid level research analyst to assist in the research and transaction execution effort. NY/Miami based prop desk specializes in distressed debt and special situations. Responsibilities will include: 1.analysis of distressed debt and special situation investments; 2. oversight of transactions from sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, execution, monitoring, to monetization; 3. reports for internal review by portfolio managers; and 4. general research projects. Should have appropriate educational background and 3+ years experience doing corporate fixed income research or corporate finance in emerging markets. Compensation to reflect experience and current market conditions. Workload will be heavy and may involve significant travel. Fluent Spanish/Portuguese highly desirable.
7. Senior Local Debt Markets Analyst
New York, Compensation: Open
Our Client, a well regarded Global Bank with a longstanding presence in EM, seeks a Senior Local Debt Markets Analyst, to join their New York based Latin American debt team. This position will be to focus and analyze trends in local fixed income markets in Latin America. Ideal candidate will be experienced with the larger markets (e.g. Brazil, Mexico). Proven skills in generating actionable trade ideas for the EM trading desk and clients coupled with strong verbal and written communication abilities key to this role. To qualify as a candidate; an advanced degree in economics or finance. Proven modeling skills. 5 or more years of relevant experience, perhaps as a trader, analyst, junior portfolio manager, either in one of the key local markets or abroad. Detailed knowledge of local debt instruments, operational issues, trading idiosyncrasies, etc. Spanish or Portuguese language skills key to this opening.
8. High Yield Research & Sales

Senior High Yield Research person with an established account following to be a member of the sales & trading desk of a well established EM focused boutique broker-dealer. A small team of High Yield research & sales would be highly desirable for this opportunity.
This Firm originates short and medium term bond deals for banks and corporations in Latin American and Eastern Europe, and actively trade EM corporate and sovereign bonds in the secondary market. The firm also produces excellent macro and corporate (Distressed and Performing) research.
